Alan Clarke has designed a set of remarkable posters for the 2012 London Olympics. They’re crisp, clean, and quite remarkable — tapping into the city’s love affair with modernism and of course the iconic ’30s simplicity of Gill Sans font used on London’s public transport.

Let’s hope these get the thumbs up from the powers that be. Boris Johnson take note!
